The short version: Navigate provides self-guided regulation and wellbeing tools. It is not medical advice, it is not a substitute for professional care, and it does not provide crisis or emergency services. Use the tools at your own pace and stop anything that feels unsafe.
Navigate is operated by Dr Richard Pomfret, Therapy on the Hill, England. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Navigate is a clinically informed, self-guided regulation app offering breathing, grounding, bilateral stimulation, soundscapes, and guided programmes based on the Window of Tolerance model. It is designed for educational and wellbeing purposes — to support nervous system regulation and provide practical tools for stress, anxiety, and day-to-day emotional difficulty.
Navigate is built by a counselling psychologist and EMDR therapist and is designed to be safe, evidence-informed, and usable alongside professional care. It is not itself a clinical service.
Navigate is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or crisis services.
Nothing in the app — including tool guidance, programme content, AI-assisted reflections, or any other feature — constitutes medical or psychological advice. Content is provided for informational and educational purposes only.
If you have concerns about your mental or physical health, consult a qualified clinician. If you are currently under the care of a therapist or doctor, use Navigate in alignment with your existing care plan.
If you are in immediate danger, or think you may harm yourself or someone else, call your local emergency number immediately (999 in the UK).
If you are struggling and need someone to talk to, Samaritans are available free on 116 123 (UK & Republic of Ireland), 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
If you are outside the UK, contact your local emergency services or a local crisis support line.
Navigate is not designed for use in crisis. If you feel significantly worse during or after using a tool, stop and seek appropriate support.
You are responsible for how you use Navigate. By using the app you agree to:
Navigate includes built-in safety features — including session limits, Window of Tolerance-guided tool filtering, and tool boundary reminders — designed to reduce the risk of over-activation. These features do not replace professional judgement.
Core tools in Navigate are free. Optional paid tiers unlock additional features:
All payments are processed by Stripe. By making a purchase you also agree to Stripe's terms. Navigate does not store your card details.
You may cancel a subscription at any time from within Settings or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you will retain access until then. One-time purchases (Founder tier) are non-refundable unless required by applicable consumer law. To cancel or request a refund, contact support@navigate.tools.
During the beta period, some Clinician Pro features may be available free of charge to invited practitioners under a temporary beta access code. Beta access is time-limited and does not constitute a subscription. When beta access expires, a paid subscription will be required to continue using those features.
We may change subscription prices at any time. Existing subscribers will be given at least 30 days' notice before any price increase takes effect, and may cancel before the change applies.
Navigate is currently in beta. This means:
Beta status does not reduce your data protection rights or alter the clinical disclaimer above.
